Our Story
Laiken Agro started as a small family farm in Mukono, Uganda, founded by Lillian on land inherited from her mother. With a passion for sustainable farming, she transformed a subsistence garden into a thriving agricultural venture focused on cultivating organic Robusta coffee.
Determined to grow high-quality coffee without pesticides, Lillian learned from local farmers and experimented with organic techniques. Over time, her small farm grew into a large estate producing premium coffee for global markets, proving that a young woman could succeed in agriculture.
Today, Laiken Agro is a respected name in Uganda’s coffee industry, known for its dedication to sustainability and family heritage. Despite challenges, Lillian remains committed to innovation and growth while staying true to her roots.
